3. Dollar Stores

  • Sell general merchandise, dry grocery and perishables at a single price point: $1.00 or 99¢
  • Assortment includes closeout merchandise
  • Examples are Deals Nothing Over a Dollar, Dollar Tree, 99¢ Only

4. Closeout

  • Specializing in closeout prices and excess inventory product
  • Examples are Big Lots, Grocery Outlet
